We'll shoot straight with ya. There are a lot of real life cowboys here about, but no famous ones like Roy Rogers, John Wayne or Gene Autry. Winthrop is a real live western town, tucked way up yonder in North Central Washington State. A place ya go to getaway, let down your hair and kick back a spell. A course we got lots a things to do like skiing, hiking, biking and hunting. You can ride a horse, throw a rope and sing around the campfire. We done got some fancy do-dad shops too.
